Volunteer Opportunity with the Davenport Public Schools

Looking for PMP's interested in working with the Davenport and Pleasant Valley Schools in an advisory/mentoring role in conjunction with a grant from PMIEF (Project Management Institute's Educational Foundation and the Partnership for 21st Century Skills organization.

PMI Quad Cities Area Chapter was one of two PMI Chapters selected for this 2-year pilot project which will result in Community Conversations in each pilot community, a toolkit for resources and other resources for replicating these conversations including on-going relationships between PMI members, their employers and their local schools.

The schools will be working to integrate project management into the curriculum through project-based teaching. Following the 2-year pilot, the resources and project model will be made available nationally with the intention of wide dissemination.
